The International Scientific Journal of Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, Cluj-Napoca (Romania), publishes original papers in English in several areas of sciences. The series can be chosen from the left-side menu.
The journal was initiated by Sándor TONK (1947−2003), the first Rector of Sapientia Hungarian University of Transylvania, and started by Antal BEGE (1962−2012), the first Editor-in-Chief.
The series of Acta Universitatis Sapientiae are covered by more than 60 international databases, among others:

Publication Ethics
Our publishing policy includes peer-reviewing in order to:
− filter the scientifically acceptable papers,
− improve the quality of papers,
− avoid plagiarism,
− avoid multiple submissions.
Submitted papers should not be considered for publication by other journals. The author is responsible for obtaining, if needed, permission for publication of peer authors or other institutional authorities.
Authors are required to prepare their paper carefully, including reference to any paper they used results from, well demarcating their own results.
In the unlikely event that we become aware of an ethics violation, we do not hesitate to publish corrections, and clarifications, or even retract the paper with appropriate apologies, as the case may be.
